The best screw driver hands down for sizing is the Rolex Sea-Dweller tool kit screw driver. It never mangles screw heads and is machined to fit perfectly into the screw slot. Horofix makes 2 versions of the Rolex tool, both come with a 1.7mm for Oyster and 1.3mm for jubilee. The 1.3mm was a perfect fit on a modern jubilee, but it was a little too thick (@ .25mm) on a late 80’s 62510 jubilee screw head.
I want to buy a quality watchmaker’s screwdriver to be able to remove links from the oyster bracelets on my 36mm Datejust and a 114060 Submariner. There are two sizes of Rolex bracelet pins and both need their own properly fitted flat headed bit. The Jubilee has a slightly finer threaded pin and smaller head. It is the hardest to size without leaving behind carnage and heartache.
