This is the new Omega Seamaster 300. It has the same old school charm, and the same blue and black dial variants, only it's been brought closer to the original, both in spirit and aesthetic. While the new Seamaster 300 has a vintage soul, it has a modern heart, including METAS chronometer certification and a current-gen co-axial escapement.
I don't have a photo, but I've tried a 39mm Explorer on my 6.5" flat wrist. It was too big. I have had several 36mm watches, including Rolex, and they were perfect. I have a 6'5" wrist and agree less than 40mm is the sweet spot. The BB58 fits very well and is 39mm (I think). 34mm - 40mm seems about right depending on the style. They are both fantastic, but considering that my wrist size is just under 7", if I could only keep one, I'd keep the 36mm 14270. Great glossy dial, perfect layout, feels super . To be honest, I was fully expecting the 39mm version to be too big for my wrist. I thought the lugs would stick out and it would look awkward. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that this . My wrist is barely 7 inches and find the 216570 very comfortable. Love the legibiity, the second time zone and the blue lume which even seems to glow in daylight. But for pure .I just prefer case sizes between 39 mm & 41 mm. I would look for a polar 16570. If Rolex ever makes a 40 mm Exp II with the big orange hand, I’ll buy it ASAP!If my wrist was smaller than 6.5” I’d go for a 36 (and save about 00). My wrist is 6.7” and I’m very happy with the 39. I know the BB36 (without the dive bezel) wears slightly smaller than .
The 214270 has a larger dial that is about the same size as the bezel of the 16570. For the average wrist, the 36mm is the better way to go. But if you're tall or have a >7" wrist, go with .
